Our Story
Born in the heart of Michigan's dairyland, Tammy grew up in the kitchens of her grandmothers. Holidays were filled with baking traditions and family legacy. Birthdays and milestones were celebrated around comforting home-cooked meals.
Tammy's love for creating elaborate meals grew into a catering business. Clients ranged from large corporate events to small intimate dinner parties. After 15 years in business and a few joint replacements, it was time to step back from catering.


When it came time to retire, no place made more sense than the Pike Lake Tammy and her family had vacationed at for years. After enjoying several years of retirement, Tammy decided to pursue a baking venture. She envisioned something simple and cozy. Something to share the goodness of a sweet treat... and the Red Shed was born.
